El terremoto de magnitud 6.6, con una profundidad de 10 kilómetros, se registró al suroeste de la capital de Sichuan, Chengdu, cerca de las 13:00 horas, hora local del lunes, informó el Servicio Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS, por sus siglas en inglés). Sismo sacude el sur de Perú, 6,9 de magnitud

El epicentro se ubico a 13,1 kilómetros al sureste de Azángaro cerca de la frontera con Bolivia.
